June 15: Scout Night at the Races at Anderson Speedway (located on Hwy. 81 toward Anderson between Hwy. 8 and I-85)

                Scouts and leaders wear uniforms for free admission and to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem before race begins. Bring canned goods for food drive and to be entered into a drawing for a door prize, and wear uniform and closed-toe shoes. Children 12 and under are free. Adults $10. Meet at 7 p.m. to sign in.

 

June 18-22: Cub Scout Day Camp at Easley First Baptist

                Register your child today! Scouts earn achievements daily while having a blast with old and new friends all in a safe and caring environment with leaders you know! **One of few opportunities to earn BB & Archery belt loops.

 

July 27-29: Family Camping at Lake Greenwood

                   Come to stay one night or two or just the day on Saturday at the Armstrong lake house. Bring swimming, fishing, and camping equipment if desired (indoor sleeping accommodations also available). Scouts will earn fishing belt loop and possibly more. Don’t forget sunscreen, drinks, snacks, chairs, and other personal needs. Directions and more details on cost and food TBA.

 

August 1-4: Cub Scout Resident Camp @ Camp Old Indian

                Great opportunity for all Scouts, especially current and upcoming Webelos, to earn important achievements and have loads of fun!!

 

August 18: Cookout & Pool Party at the Nelson’s

                Plan to bring food, swimming gear, sunscreen, etc., and enjoy a relaxed time of swimming and fellowship before school starts back! Time TBA.
